I Love Cooking for People

I Love Cooking for People

I really love cooking and especially for other people.

It is one of the most natural ways I know to express care and gratitude without needing to explain anything or say very much at all.

Italian food is where I feel most at home in the kitchen. There is a comfort and simplicity in the preparation and ingredients, It is never rushed. When I cook Italian food for others I am not trying to impress anyone. The satisfaction comes from the moment people take their first bite or mouthful. The pause. The smile. The sheer joy and gratitude.

Conversation softens when the food is good. I notice the small things, the plate comes back clean, a heartfelt smile and appreciative 'thank you'. That gratitude matters to me more than they know.

Cooking for people also makes me feel connected. It is a way of giving something of myself that feels honest and grounded. When someone enjoys what I have created it reminds me why I love being in the kitchen in the first place — not for perfection, but for the shared experience around the table.
