A collaboration between Teddy McDonald and HRH Princess Eugenie, HRH Princess Beatrice and Sarah, Duchess of York.
The painting was completed on location at the Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park in May 2016.
McDonald donated all proceeds from the original sale to the charity Children in Crisis.
"The princesses input was very spontaneous. We were all sitting on the lawn looking at the painting and I simply asked them to write their thoughts using paint markers. If you consider what they chose to write in the spur of the moment, their comments are extremely uplifting and thoughtful of others.
Given the princesses involvement was so spontaneous, I managed to capture the princesses honest thoughts, there was no time for palace officials to try and stand in my way. I therefore consider the painting to be rather special.
It may not standalone as a great work of art but, it does possess a rare quality, a very unadultered and unfiltered moment in the history of British royalty"
